Our Services
JB Line supports the Japanese-speaking community with guidance, connection, and resources. Our Bilingual Support Line offers help in Japanese and English, and Case Management provides personalized support for complex needs. We also run programs for seniors and families, from friendly visits to parenting resources. Through Outreach & Education, we offer various workshops and events, sometimes with other Asian organizations. Our resource Hub links people to essential information on healthcare, education, and social services.
Japanese / English Support Line

Available: Weekdays, 10 AM - 4 PM EST
Phone: 781-296-1800
(You may leave a message during non-business hours.)
JB Line provides support in both Japanese and English by phone and email at help@jbline.org. All calls are answered by qualified staff or certified volunteers, and we prioritize client anonymity and confidentiality. However, we are legally required to report to the appropriate authorities if someone is at imminent risk of harm to themselves or others. Our services are always free of charge.
Case Management

For concerns that go beyond phone consultations, we offer in-person meetings to create personalized support plans. We provide information on medical services, health insurance, social services, senior living, and legal resources. Support may also include accompanying clients to agencies and offering interpretation. We help bridge gaps in language, culture, and systems for both clients and agencies.
Please note: direct service costs may include reimbursement for transportation, parking, and other expenses.
Senior Support

JB Line offers support for seniors through friendly visits and interactive community programs. Volunteers visit seniors at home or in senior living facilities to provide companionship in Japanese.
Additionally, we host monthly support groups, including conversational gatherings, a nostalgic Japanese singing group, and a virtual fitness class. These programs help seniors stay socially and physically active.
